International Women's Day
The day that has been celebrated for over 100 years on March 8 to recognize the global struggles and achievements of women.
'Give Us Bread, But Give Us Roses'
The days celebration began with a Pancake breakfast at the Union Centre this morning with guest speakers: Lois Wales, President, MGEU; Barb Byers, CLC Executive Vice-President; Cathy Williams-Stewart, Worker of Colour VP, MFL

Kelly shared two of her favorite books with Grade 1 students at West St. Paul school and Grade 5 students at Forest Park school: 'Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type' and 'Ruby's Hope'.

Attending the 19th Annual Traditional Pryer Vigil in honour of the People's Struggle to free Leonard Peltier, North America's longest-serving, indigenous political prisoner. The day commemorates Leonard's sacrifice of 36 years of false imprisonment.
